When we talk about mobility, we talk about the ability to move easily and freely. Nowadays, mobility lies in public transportations such as trains, subways and buses. For too long, our mobility to make our home - offices trips has been reduced. In the past few years, carpooling has been improved and adapted to commuters in order to reduce CO2 emissions and traffic flow in big congested hubs.
Zify is obviously concerned by all the mobility issues and innovations that are currently at stake on a global scale. That is why Zify is working closely with different cities’ local authorities in order to develop the home - office carpool and make it easier for places not being served by public transportations to become finally accessible in a jiffy!
Improving our daily commutes is today's main issue of our cities. For people but also for our planet.
The CO2 emissions of a single vehicle can be divided by the number of passengers present throughout the carpool. Also, grouping four commuters together has the possible outcome of reducing the number of vehicles on roadways by four, and by doing so greatly divides the emissions levels of each commuter.
It is a question we are constantly wondering. No buses or trains will ever cover every area each person would like. That is why we think the mobility’s next solution lies in carpooling. Indeed, a driver using its car every day could help someone else going in the same direction. By adopting the carpool as a way to commute to work, people’s mobility would be significantly improved. Not only it would make them avoid overcrowded trains and buses but it will help them being more productive at work as they won’t spend too much time in public transportations.
